Gran Canaria inks talented Pauli

Herbalife Gran Canaria Las Palmas added more talent to its roster ahead of the 2014-15 Eurocup campaign, announcing the signing of swingman Oriol Pauli to a four year deal on Tuesday. Pauli (2.01 meters, 20 years old) has spent his entire career with FC Barcelona, where he grew up through the youth categories, and Barcelona keeps the right on a player after the first season in June of 2015. The past two years Pauli spent playing for Barcelona B in the Spanish second division, and last season averaged 9.8 points, 4.6 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 1.0 steals. He has also been a regular member of Spanish youth categories, and has helped his country win a silver medal this summer at the U20 European Championship. Pauli posted 4.7 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.4 assists during the tournament.
