Lietuvos Rytas Vilnius has signed rookie forward Mike Moser for the coming season. Moser (2.03 meters, 23 years old) will make his professional basketball debut in the Lithuanian capital. He arrives from the University of Oregon, where he averaged 13.2 points and 7.7 rebounds as a fifth-year senior last season. Oregan was Moser’s third school in five years after playing one season at the University of California – Los Angeles (UCLA) and two at the University of Nevada – Las Vegas (UNLV). Moser’s best season came in 2011-12 with UNLV, where he tallied 14 points, 10.5 rebounds and 1.9 steals to earn Mountain West Conference Newcomer of the Year and First Team honors.
