Besiktas inks swingman Holland

Besiktas Integral Forex Istanbul added another weapon by signing swingman John Holland for the remainder of the season. Holland (1.96 meters, 25 years old) was already in Istanbul for the NBA Global Games, having been a part of San Antonio Spurs preseason roster. He played in France last season for BCM Gravelines-Dunkerque., where he averaged 9.9 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.4 steals over 13 Eurocup games. Besiktas will be his fourth European club after debuting with Chorale Roanne in France in 2011-12 and spending the following season in Spain with Baloncesto Seville. Holland is a 90% free-throw shooter over his Eurocup career.
