Kyiv lands Marcus Faison, Vladimir Krstic

Marcus Faison Ukrainian powerhouse BC Kyiv continues to prepare a competitive roster for its ULEB Cup debut and on Wednesday announced that shooting guard Marcus Faison and playmaker Vladimir Krstic inked respective one-year contracts with the club. Faison (196, 29) is not only a veteran of the ULEB Cup, but he is its fifth all-time top scorer with 608 points in 37 games with Spirou Charleroi of Belgium. He arrives from Unicaja, where he helped the team reach the Final Four for the first time, averaging 7.8 points in 11 Euroleague games after joining the team for the start of the Top 16. Faison has also played for RheinEnergie in Germany, the Adirondack Wildcats in the USBL and Pepinster in Belgium.

Krstic (185, 34) arrives from Olimpia GE Larisa, where he averaged 7 points and 3.6 assists in 22 Greek-League games last season. He has also played for Menorca in Spain, Anwil Wloclawek in Poland, Steiner Bayreuth in Germany, Pau-Orthez in France, Lietuvos Rytas in Lithuania, Varese in Italy and Osijek, Zadar and Cibona in his native Croatia. He helped Cibona to win back-to-back Croatian League titles in 1999 and 2000. Krstic is a member of his national team.
