Khimki brings Daniel Ewing back to Moscow

Daniel EwingBC Khimki has signed guard Daniel Ewing for two seasons, the club announced Monday. Ewing (191, 24) returns to Moscow after first visiting the city with the Los Angeles Clippers last season as part of the NBA Europe Live tournament. During his time in Moscow, Ewing was among a group of Clippers players who conducted a basketball clinic for children. Ewing spent the past two seasons in the NBA with the Clippers after a stellar collegiate career at Duke University. Ewing averaged 3.4 points, 1.4 assists and 13.3 minutes in a total of 127 regular-season NBA games over two seasons with the Clippers, who drafted him with the 32nd overall pick in the 2005 NBA draft. At Duke, Ewing was named the Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament MVP during his sophomore year and was an All-ACC Tournament First Team selection the following two seasons. He was named team captain in his final two seasons and was a starter as the squad reached the NCAA final four in 2004.
