Galatasaray Cafe Crown lands Andrija Zizic

Andrija Zizic - Panathinaikos A well-rounded big man is set to make his Eurocup debut, as Galatasaray Cafe Crown announced the arrival of center Andrija Zizic on Thursday. Zizic (207, 28) inked a one-year deal, with an option to extend it until the end of the 2009-10 season. He arrives from Panathinaikos, where he averaged 5.2 points and 1.7 rebounds in 18 Euroleague games last season. Zizic has also played for Olympiacos in Greece, FC Barcelona in Spain, as well as for Cibona, Split, Plastik Solin and Omis Mosor in his native Croatia. He helped Panathinaikos to win the Greek League and the Greek Cup titles last season. Zizic also lifted consecutive Croatian League titles with Split in 2003 and Cibona in 2004. Zizic has also been a member of the Croatian national team.
