Cajasol adds size with Mile Ilic

Mile Ilic Cajasol has taken another step to complete its roster for the upcoming 2008-09 season by signing center Mile Ilic to a two-year deal. Ilic (215, 24) arrives from iurbentia Bilbao Basket, where he averaged 5.4 points and 4 rebounds in 12 Spanish League games last season. He helped Bilbao Basket to reach the Spanish League playoffs. Ilic has also played for the Colorado 14ers in the NBDL, the New Jersey Nets in the NBA, as well as for FMP Zeleznik and Hemofarm in Serbia. He was the 2005-06 ULEB CUp best shot blocker (1.5 rpg.), also averaging 7.6 points and 4.8 rebounds in 12 games with FMP. He helped FMP to win two Adriatic League titles in 2004 and 2006, as well as lifting the Serbia and Montenegro Cup trophy in 2003. Ilic has also been a member of the Serbian national team, taking part in the 2006 World Championship.
