Besiktas IF brings playmaker Reynolds aboard
Besiktas Integral Forex Istanbul reloaded its backcourt with the signing of point guard Scottie Reynolds, who arrives from Russian club Krasnye Krylya Samara. Reynolds (1.88 meters, 27 years old) averaged 15.2 points, 5.3 assists and 1.1 steals over 12 VTB League games for Krasnye Krylya this season. He returns to the Eurocup after making four appearances for CEZ Basketball Nymburk last season. A college basketball star at Villanova University, Reynolds has played the bulk of his professional career in Europe, including stints with Prima Veroli and Brindisi in Italy, Antalya in Turkey, Hapoel Holon in Israel, and his time with Nymburk and Krasnye Krylya. He can play immediately for Besiktas, which has two of its remaining Last 32 games at home as it seeks to clinch a spot in the Eurocup Eighthfinals.
