Last 16 Week 2 MVP: Phil Ricci, CEZ Nymburk

Ricci became the Last 16 Week 2 MVP by compiling a performance index rating of 34 during in his team's 92-97 overtime road win against Turk Telekom. Despite not starting the game, Ricci shined with 24 points by making 8 of 14 two-point shots and 8 of 8 free throws. He added 8 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals, 2 blocks and 6 fouls drawn for a 34 index rating. Following him in second place was Darius Washington of Galatasaray Cafe Crown, who had a 33 index rating in his team's road loss against Hapoel Jerusalem. Washington scored 29 points, including 2-of-2 three-point shooting, to go with 5 assists, 3 steals and 8 fouls drawn. Nemanja Bjelica of Crvena Zvezda, who led his team's 30-point home win against Gran Canaria, was next with a 31 index rating in just 21 minutes based on his 22 points, including 3-of-3 three-pointers, 6 rebounds and 2 assists. Yogev Ohayon of Hapoel Jerusalem was next with a 28 rating as he led his team to victory with 18 points, 8 assists and 6 steals. Two more big winners - Blagota Sekulic of Alba Berlin and Jerome Moiso of Bizkaia Bilbao Basket - rated 23 each to complete the top individual performances in Last 16 Week 2.

Individual highs: Tutku Acik, 11 assists

Washington was the Last 16 Week 2 top scorer with 29 points against Hapoel. Washington is second in the Last 16 table now (21 ppg.) behind Julius Jenkins of Alba Berlin (21.5 ppg.). Tibor Pleiss of Brose Baskets led all rebounders by pulling down 10 in his team's home win against Benetton Gioco Digitale. Rado Rancik of Galatasaray is the Last 16's best rebounder so far at 10 boards per night. Tutku Acik of Turk Telekom dished 11 assists to lead the weekly standings. He joins a three-way tie atop the Last 16 standings along with Marko Popovic of Unics and Yuval Naimy of Hapoel, each with 6.5 assists per night. Ohayon collected 6 steals, more than anyone in Last 16 Week 2. Terrell Lyday leads this phase's standings at 3.5 per game. Moiso had 4 blocks and also ties for first place (2.5 bpg.) along with Serhiy Lishchuk of Power Electronics Valencia. Exceptionally enough, no player registered a double-double in Last 16 Week 2.
