Umana Reyer Venice reached a new agreement with swingman Jeff Viggiano to stay together next season, the club announced Thursday. Viggiano (1.97 meters, 30 years old) averaged 9.7 points and 3.1 rebounds in 41 Italian League games last season. Viggiano has significant Eurocup experience, as he played the competition with Benetton Treviso and Montepaschi Siena of Italy in the past, totalling 101 points and 42 rebounds in 20 games. Viggiano has also played for Norrkoping Dolphins of Sweden, Soproni Sordogok of Hungary and Nuovo Pallacanestro Pavia, EA7 Emporio Armani Milan, Angellico Biella and Enel Brindisi of Italy. He has also been a member of the Italian national team. "I am really happy to come back to Venice and play again for Umana Reyer, a great club with a great fan base," Viggiano said after the agreement. "I really enjoyed last season and cannot wait to come back."
