JSF Nanterre kept building its roster weeks ahead of its 2015-16 Eurocup regular season opener by inking forward Tasmin Mitchell on Friday. Mitchell (2.01 meters, 29 years old) arrives from Champagne Chalons-Reims Basket, where he averaged 10.8 points and 5.4 rebounds in 30 French League games last season. He played the 2012-13 Eurocup with Russian side Triumph Lyubertsy, averaging 12.3 points and 3.8 rebounds in 12 games. Mitchell has also played for Erie Bay of the D-League, as well as for Hapoel Holon and Maccabi Rishon Le-Zion of Israel. Before that, he helped Lousiana State University to reach the NCAA Tournament final four in 2006. "I have followe this season and planned to sign him last season. He is a good rebounder, able to make three-point shots and plays very hard," head coach Pascal Donnadieu said. "He played the Eurocup already and has the experience that we will need."
