Herbalife Gran Canaria Las Palmas announced the arrival of playmaker Kevin Pangos, who inked a two-year deal with last season's Eurocup finalists on Friday. Pangos (1.89 meters, 22 years old) is set to start his professional career in Gran Canaria. He just finished his college career at Gonzaga University, averaging 11.6 points on 43.1% three-point shooting and 4.8 assists in 38 NCAA games last season. He le dhis team to the NCAA Tournament elite eight and was chosen as the All-WCC Player of the Year. He helped Gonzaga win back-to-back WCC tournament titles in 2014 and 2015. Pangos has also been a member of the Canadian University and youth teams. He helped Canada win respective bronze medals at the 2010 U17 World Championships and the 2009 U16 Tournament of the Americas. Obviously, Pangos is set to make his Eurocup debut with Gran Canaria next season.
