MHP RIESEN Ludwigsburg improved its backcourt by signing combo guard Rocky Trice to a one-year deal on Monday. Trice (1.85 meters, 31 years old) arrives from WKS Slask Wroclaw, where he averaged 13 points, 5.4 rebounds and 1.9 steals in 32 Polish League games last season. He has also played for Energa Czarni Slupsk of Poland and for ratiopharm Ulm, MEG Goettingen and Cuxhaven BasCats of Germany. Trice is set to make his Eurocup debut with Ludwigsburg next season. "I have always maintained contact with Rocky and followed his way," Ludwigsburg head coach John Patrick said. Patrick and Trice already worked together in Goettingen in the 2008-09 season. "I am very pleased that we can welcome him in Ludwigsburg. Rocky is a hard-working combo guard who has a well-rounded skills set."
