Telekom Baskets Bonn completed its roster for the 2015-16 season with the signing of Xavier Silas. The swingman arrives from Greek club Nea Kifissia, where he averaged 11.9 points and 3.2 rebounds per game last season. Silas (1.96 meters, 27 years old) is a well-traveled professional who has played for Gravelines in France, Maccabi Ashdod in Israel, Philadelphia in the NBA, Quimsa in Argentina, and Maine in the NBA D-League. Silas's father, James Silias, was an ABA All-Star and had his uniform No. 13 retired by the San Antonio Spurs.
"He is a seasoned professional with a high basketball IQ, which will help us on both ends of the court," Bonn head coach Mathias Fischer said of Silas.
