Avtodor Saratov added another weapon to its backcourt by signing guard Paul Stoll. The contract is through the end of the Eurocup Regular Season with an option to extend it for the remainder of the season. Stoll (1.80 meters, 29 years old) will be reunited at Saratov with Coach Brad Greenberg; the two won the 2013 Israeli League championship together with Maccabi Bazan Haifa. Stoll last played for Mexican club Halcones Rojos Veracruz, where he averaged 10.5 points, 4 assists and 1.7 steals per game. He has also played for Halcones UV Cordoba and Algodoneros de la Comarca in Mexico, Gigantes de Guayana in Venezuela and Trabzonspor in Turkey. As a member of the Mexican national team, Stoll has collected gold medals at the 2013 FIBA Americas Championship and the 2014 CentroBasket Championship.
