After its 3-2 start in Group B of the Eurocup Regular Season, good for a second-place tie, Avtodor Saratov has switched roles on its coaching staff. Alexey Vasilyev has gone from assistant to head coach of the team, the club announced Saturday. Brad Greenberg, who was the head coach through the first half of the regular season, remains with the coaching staff, the announcement said. Both have been officially registered in the Eurocup at their new positions. Vasilyev, 38, had been an assistant coach over the last four seasons at Triumph Lyubertsy and Zenit St. Petersburg before joining Avtodor over the summer.
