Last season he averaged 6.8 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.7 blocks in 18 Euroleague contests for Laboral. Begic is second on the Euroleague’s all-time charts with 162 career blocked shots. Among his career highlights, Begic won the 2013 Intercontinental Cup with Olympiacos, helped Olimpija win Slovenian League and Cup doubles in 2008 and 2009 and won the Baltic League trophy with Zalgiris in 2010. In his three seasons with Madrid, he helped the team reach the Euroleague Final Four in 2011 and 2013 and win the Spanish double in 2012.
