Venice adds experienced forward Savovic
Eurocup newcomer Umana Reyer Venice will go into the second half of the Last 32 with some extra experience after signing forward Boris Savovic for the rest of the season. Savovic (2.06 meters, 28 years old) has played 50 games in his Eurocup career between his debut in 2005 and 2013 , most with his original team, Hemofarm of Serbia. In his last Eurocup season, with Crvena Zvezda Telekom Belgrade, he posted 10.6 points and 6.6 rebounds per game. Savovic played the 2013-14 season in the Euroleague for FC Bayern Munich, with averages of 4.1 points and 3.2 rebounds in 14 minutes per game. He had debuted in the Euroleague over five games with Galatasaray Istanbul in the 2011-12 season. Savovic has also played for Buducnost Podgorica of Montenegro, ratiopharm Ulm of Germany and Turk Telekom of Turkey.
