Stelmet Zielona Gora found a new playmaker, none other than James Florence, who inked a one-year deal with the Polish League champion on Thursday. Florence (1.85 meters, 28 years old) arrives from Cibona VIP Zagreb, where he averaged 12.8 points and 3.6 assists in 20 Adriatic League games last season. He boosted his scoring numbers in the Croatian League, averaging a competition-best 18.7 points in 19 games, helping Cibona reach the finals. Florence started the 2015-16 season with Paris Levallois of France, joining Cibona in October. He started his career with Igokea Aleksandrovac of Bosnia and Herzegovina and also played for Kryvbasbasket-Lux Kryvyi Rih of Ukraine, Szolnoki Olaj of Hungary, New Yorker Phantom Braunschweig of Germany, Zadar of Croatia and TED Kojelliler Ankara of Turkey. Florence is set to make his 7DAYS EuroCup debut with Zielona Gora next season.
