UCAM Murcia has found a head coach in Oscar Quintana, who inked a one-year deal with the 7DAYS EuroCup newcomer on Thursday. Quintana, age 49, has been working as a TV analyst for the best part of the last three seasons. He already coached Murcia from February 2012 to January 2014. Quintana started his coaching career with Baloncesto Fuenlabrada and also coached CAI Zaragoza, Caja San Fernando Sevilla, Ricoh Manresa and Lucentum Alicante before joining Murcia. Quintana coached Fuenlabrada in the EuroCup's original season, 2002-03. Just as Fuenlabrada, Quintana has not returned to the EuroCup until this season. Quintana has also coached the Spanish U20 national team.
