Polish champion Stelmet Zielona Gora has announced the signing of two-time 7DAYS EuroCup champion Thomas Kelati to a two-year contract on Monday. After three seasons away, Kelati (1.95 meters, 34 years old) returns to the competition that he won in 2010 with Valencia Basket and two years later with Khimki Moscow Region. Kelati began his Eurocup career with another Polish Club, Turow Zgorzelec, in 2007 and has played a total of 58 games over four seasons in the competition, averaging 10.7 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.7 assists in that span. He has slightly lower numbers in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, where he played parts of three seasons with Unicaja Malaga, Khimki and Laboral Kutxa Vitoria Gasteiz. He has played the last two seasons for a new EuroCup team, UCAM Murcia of Spain. Despite playing just four EuroCup seasons, Kelati ranks 12th all-time in the competition with 129 three-pointers made.
