Another day, another addition for Union Olimpija Ljubljana. The club’s latest signing is center Drazen Bubnic, who returns to the Slovenian capital after two years away. Bubnic (2.07 meters, 30 years old) played for Olimpija from 2012 through 2014 and averaged 4.4 points and 1.5 rebounds off the bench in 13 EuroCup games in the second of those campaigns. He helped Olimpija win the Slovenian Cup in 2013. Bubnic arrives from Dutch side Groningen, where he averaged 9.2 points and 3.4 rebounds per game last season. He has also played for Hermes Analitica Zagreb in Croatia; CSU Atlassib Sibiu in Romania; and for Slovan Ljubljana, Zlatorog Lasko, Koper, Helios Domzale, Rogaska and Sencur in Slovenia.
