Eurocup Qualifying Round GAME 2
The Eurocup Regular Season slate was finalized Wednesday when Lukoil Academic and Telenet Oostende finished off sweeps of their qualifying rounds opponents and joined Spartak SPB, Azovmash, Dexia Mons, Cedevita, Le Mans and Gran Canaria, who all won their games and series Tuesday. Those eight completed the 32-team Eurocup Regular Season lineup ahead of the draw on October 11. Academic trumped Prostejov 77-87, while  Oostende ousted Norrkoping 70-67. On Tuesday, Spartak beat Etha Engomis behind Patrick Beverley's 26 points. Azovmash topped Ventspils 79-65 as Ricky Minard poured in 24. Mons KO'd Besiktas 74-63 behind A.J. Slaughter's 19 points. Cedevita downed Elan Chalon 84-69 as reigning Eurocup MVP Dontaye Draper enjoyed a double-double. Le Mans edged Pinar Karsiyaka 80-78 led by Alex Acker to sweep that series. And Gran Canaria routed Artland Dragons 92-65.

Eurocup Qualifying Round GAME 1
The first legs of the Eurocup Qualifying Round concluded Wednesday and the stage is now set for eight games next week to determine who wins the two-game, toal points series and gets to play Eurocup basketball this seaosn. Both Wednesday affairs went to the visitors. First Spartak SPB edged Etha 59-60 in Cyprus as Yotam Halperin scored 16. Then Gran Canaria defeated Artland 56-61. In Tuesday's games, Elan Chalon topped Cedevita 78-73, but only after it blew a 22-point fourth-quarter lead. Another late comeback saw Le Mans beat Pinar Karsiyaka 73-80. In Sweden, Oostende downed Norrkoping 62-88. Earlier Lukoil Academic overcame Prostejov 70-65 on the strength of 17 points from Lamont Mack. Ventspils edged Azovmash 75-74 on a buzzer-beating Jahmar Young triple. And Marcelus Kemp scored 24 as Besiktas bested Dexia Mons-Hainaut 78-70.
