Reggio Emilia pens veteran Llompart to short-term deal
Grissin Bon Reggio Emilia added backcourt depth by signing veteran guard Pedro Llompart to a two-month deal with an option for the remainder of the season. Llompart (1.90 meters, 35 years old) arrives from Tenerife, where he averaged 7.0 points and 1.5 assists in two Spanish League games this season. He began the season with Valencia Basket, which he helped win the Spanish SuperCup. Llompart played in the 7DAYS EuroCup last season for UCAM Murcia, with which he averaged 3.3 points and 1.5 assists in a reserve role. This will be the fifth EuroCup campaign for Llompart, who has also played the competition with CAI Zaragoza and Valencia. He also played one EuroLeague season with Valencia. Reggio Emilia will be Llompart’s first club outside of Spain.
