Morabanc Andorra reached a new agreement with center Oliver Stevic to stay together next season, the club announced Monday. Stevic (2.04 meters, 34 years old) averaged seven points and 4.5 rebounds in 10 7DAYS EuroCup games last season. He helped Andorra reach the Spanish League playoffs in each of the last two seasons. Stevic started his career with Borac Cacak of his native Serbia and also played for Slask Wroclaw and Stelmet Zielona Gora of Poland, Koper of Slovenia, Crvena Zvezda and Masinac Krajlevo of Serbia, EWE Baskets Oldenburg of Germany, Bilbao Basket and Montakit Fuenlabrada of Spain, Casale Monferrato of Italy and Royal Hali Gaziantep of Turkey. Stevic helped Zielona Gora win the Polish League title in 2013. He has plenty of 7DAYS EuroCup experience, as Stevic played the competition with Slask, Zvezda, Oldenburg, Bilbao, and Andorra, accumulating 505 points and 309 rebounds in 58 career games. "He has been a very important player for us in the last two seasons not only because of his performance but also because of how helps a team with players of so many different countries be together," Andorra general manager Francesc Solana said. "He is our captain and his commitment is more than proved by the fact that he played injured in the last five months of the season."
