Partizan NIS Belgrade made the first addition to its roster for the 2018-19 campaign by signing forward Rade Zagorac to a two-year deal. Zagorac (2.06 meters, 22 years old) arrives from Real Betis Energia Plus Seville, where he posted 4.4 points and 1.3 rebounds in 14 Spanish League appearances last season. Zagorac now returns to his hometown, where he grew up with Mega Bemax Belgrade and made his professional debut as an 18-year old. He helped Mega win its historic first-ever Serbian Cup in 2016, and the same year helped the club reach Adriatic League finals by averaging 13.1 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.7 steals. Zagorac has played on the Serbian national team at the junior levels and ranked second in scoring and rebounding on the gold-medal winning squad at the 2015 FIBA Europe U-20 Championship in Italy. He is set to make his 7DAYS EuroCup debut with Partizan.
"It's a great pleasure for me to become a member of Partizan. This was the easiest decision in my career," Zagorac said. "The most important details of these negotiations were the priorities, ambition and goal, and that is for Partizan to return to the EuroLeague."
