Zenit St Petersburg brought in loads of scoring power on Wednesday when it announced the addition of guard Philip Scrubb for the next season. Scrubb (1.91 meters, 25 years old) arrives from the German League, where last season he was the top scorer. Scrubb played with the Fraport Skyliners of Frankfurt, where he averaged 18.3 points, 3.4 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.2 steals in 32 games. Scrubb played college ball at Carleton University from 2010 to 2015, and that same year he made his pro debut with AEK Athens in Greece, also playing in the 7DAYS EuroCup for the first time. That same season he moved to Frankfurt, where he remained until this last season.
