On Monday morning, ASVEL Villeurbanne confirmed the addition of big man Miro Bilan for the next two seasons. Bilan (2.13 meters, 29 years old) arrives from Strasbourg of France, where last season he averaged 13.1 points, 6.4 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 35 games and won the French Cup. Bilan grew up in Sibenika of his native Croatia, and in 2010 he played with Zadar, but one year later he joined Cedevita Zagreb, which is where he had his breakthrough as a player. He played six full seasons in Cedevita and had appearances in the 7DAYS EuroCup and the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague. By joining ASVEL, Bilan will now be back to the EuroCup.
