Zvezda adds three-time EuroLeague champ Perperoglou
Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade added an experienced force with the signing of forward Stratos Perperoglou, a three-time continental champion. Perperoglou (2.03 meters, 33 years old) lifted the EuroLeague trophy champion with Panathinaikos Athens in 2009 and 2011 and again with Olympiacos Piraeus in 2013. He totaled more than 200 appearances over 10 seasons in Europe's premier competition during his time with the two Greek giants, FC Barcelona and Anadolu Efes Istanbul. Perperoglou played for Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem last season and averaged 8.2 points and 3.2 rebounds in 10 EuroCup games. In addition to his EuroLeague titles and the 2013 Intercontinental Cup he won with Olympiacos, Perperoglou's trophy case includes four Greek championships, three Greek Cups and the 2015 Turkish Cup.
