Galatasaray Istanbul bolstered its offense when it added forward Nigel Hayes to the team's 7DAYS EuroCup roster, signing a one-year deal on Wednesday. Hayes (2.03 meters, 23 years old) played nine NBA games last season divided between the Los Angeles Lakers, Toronto and Sacramento, averaging 3.4 points and 4.4 rebounds in 13.6 minutes. He spent the majority of 2017-18 with a Development League team Westchester, where he averaged 15 points, and knocked down 2.4 triples per game on 42.3% three-point shooting. He also had 6 rebounds and 2.1 assists per contest. That was his first pro season after having spent four at the University of Wisconsin as a double-digit scorer. He is now set to make his EuroCup debut.
