Mornar puts Grant at point
Mornar Bar has a new point guard, Malcolm Grant, to help the team in its quest to reach the 7DAYS EuroCup Top 16 in its debut season in the competition. The club announced on Wednesday that it signed Grant (1.85 meters, 30 years old) until the end of the season. He spent the first part of the year with a fellow Adriatic League side Zadar and will fill the void in the backcourt with the departures of Bobby Brown and Bronson Koenig. Grant averaged 11.9 points and 3.6 assists in seven Adriatic League games this season. Last season Grant played for Nevezis in Lithuania and BK Astana in Kazakhstan. He has also played for Tajfun in Slovenia, Apoel Nicosia in Cyprus, Wollongong Hawks in Australia, Basket Lulea in Sweden and spent parts of three seasons in Canada playing for Halifax Rainmen, Mississauga Power and The Island Storm. Grant is set to make his EuroCup debut in Round 9.
