Germani Brescia Leonessa made its first addition to next season's roster, none other than center Tyler Cain, who inked a one-year deal with an option for another season on Tuesday. Cain (2.03 meters, 30 years old) arrives from Openjobmetis Varese, where he averaged 9.7 points, 10.8 rebounds and 0.8 blocks in 30 Italian League games last season. He started his professional basketball career with Latvian side VEF Riga, and has also played for Barons Kvartalis also of Latvia, Credito di Romagna Forli of Italy, as well as for Elan Bearnais Pau-Orthez, JDA Dijon Bourgogne and Champagne Chalons-Reims Basket of France. Cain helped VEF win consecutive Latvian League titles in 2011 and 2012. He returns to the 7DAYS EuroCup for the first time since 2012 - he averaged 5.6 points and 5.2 rebounds in 18 career games with VEF. "I am very happy to be able to play for Brescia," Cain said after the agreement. "I cannot wait to be there, work hard and be able to have a great season."
