Divina Seguros Joventut Badalona and power forward Luke Harangody have agreed to terms on a contract that will keep them working together next season, the club announced Tuesday. Harangody (2.02 meters, 31 years old) averaged 9.0 points on 92.6% free throw shooting and 5.0 rebounds in 34 Spanish League games last season. He helped Joventut reach the Spanish Copa del Rey semifinals and the Spanish League playoffs.
Harangody started his professional career with Boston in the NBA. He has also played for Cleveland in the NBA, Canton and Fort Wayne in the G-League, UNICS Kazan in Russia, Valencia Basket in Spain, Darussafaka Istanbul in Turkey and ratiopharm Ulm in Germany. He helped UNICS reach the 7DAYS EuroCup Finals in 2014 and also made it to the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Playoffs with Darussafaka in 2017. Harangody has averaged 8.5 points and 5.0 rebounds in 40 EuroCup career games with UNICS, Valencia and Ulm.
