Dolomiti Energia Trento and point guard Aaron Craft will remain together for another season after they penned a new contract on Wednesday. Craft (1.88 meters, 28 years old) completed his second stint with Trento last season after joining the club in November. He averaged 9.5 points, 9.3 assists and 2.0 steals and took Trento to a 2-2 record in four 7DAYS EuroCup games, but it wasn't enough to lead the club to the Top 16. Craft was worth 11.9 points, 4.2 assists and a league-best 2.1 steals in the Italian League. He began the season with Buducnost VOLI Podgorica, with which he made his Turkish Airlines EuroLeague debut.
Craft first played for Trento in the 2016-17 season and helped the club reach the Italian League finals. He has also played in Europe for Hungarian side Szolnoki Olaj and for AS Monaco, which he led to first place in the 2017-18 French League regular season, Game 5 of the French finals and the French Cup. Craft was named the 2018 French League Best Defender. He was also the 2015 D-League Defensive Player of the Year after his premier professional season with Santa Cruz, with which he won the D-League title.
