Brescia bolsters frontcourt with Horton

Germani Brescia Leonessa continued the building of its roster for the coming season by signing forward Ken Horton to a one-year deal. Horton (2.01 meters, 29 years old) played last season with Astana from Kazakhstan. In the VTB United League, he averaged 12.8 points and ranked fourth with 7.4 rebounds and third with 1.6 steals per game. He helped Astana reach the VTB playoffs, where it was ousted by Khimki Moscow Region.

Horton started his professional career in 2012 in the French second division with Boulogne. In Europe, he also played with Apollon in Cyprus, Kataja in Finland, medi Bayreuth and Telekom Baskets Bonn in Germany, and Pau-Orthez in France. Earlier in his career, Horton also wore the uniforms of Huracanes de Tampico in Mexico and Ballarat Miners in Australia. He is now set to make his 7DAYS EuroCup debut.
