Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana has started a new era of basketball in the Slovenian capital making forward Edo Muric new club’s first-ever signing. Muric (2.02 meters, 28 years old) has signed a two-year deal. He spent a major part of last season with Cedevita in Croatia, and averaged 6.7 points and 3.2 rebounds in 6 appearances in the 7DAYS EuroCup. He also posted 9.1 points and 4.4 rebounds in the Adriatic League action. Last seasons was the third EuroCup campaign for Muric, who spent one season each in the competition with KRKA Novo Mesto, in 2011-12, and with Partizan NIS Belgrade, in 2014-15. After that Muric spent a season with Banvit in Turkey before becoming one of the key contributors for Slovenian national team in winning the 2017 EuroBasket gold. Shortly after that Muric joined Anadolu Efes Istanbul, making his Turkish Airlines EuroLeague debut in 2017-18 regular season, before moving on to Zielona Gora in Poland.
