Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana reached an agreement with small forward Mirko Mulalic on a two-year deal, the club announced on Wednesday. Mulalic (1.95 meters, 31 years old) arrives from Balkan Botevgrad, where he averaged 5.2 points in 33 Bulgarian League games last season in helping his team win the title. Born in Ljubljana, Mulalic played for Union Olimpija in two different stints - as a teenager until 2008 and in the 2016-17 season, when he helped it win its 17th - and to date, last - Slovenian League title. He has also played for Triglav Kranj, FGC Mercator Skofja Loka, Geoplin Slovan Ljubljana, LOGO Grosuplje, Hopsi Polzela, Krka Novo Mesto and Sixt Primorska of his nativa Slovenia. Mulalic lifted the Slovenian Cup three times - with Krka in 2015 and 2016 and with Primorska in 2018.
"I would like to thank the entire organization and of course, Coach Slaven Rimac," Mulalic said after the agreement. "I am very glad that I returned to the Dragon's Nest. I am looking forward to starting everything together."
