Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana announced that it signed veteran forward Sasa Zagorac, who returns to his boyhood club for a third stint. Zagorac (2.06 meters, 35 years old) grew up in the Olimpija Ljubljana junior system, began his professional career with the club and also appeared in a EuroLeague game in the 2003-04 season. He later played for Olimpija in the 2015-16 campaign. He has also played for Zlatorog Lasko, KRKA Novo Mesto, Birokrat SQL Ljubljana, Postojnska Jama, Logo Grosuplje and Rogla Atras Zrece of Slovenia; Superfund Bulls Kapfenberg of Austria; Caja Rural Melilla, Gandia Basquet, Knet Rioja Clavijo and Coinga of Spain; Shiraz of Iran; Lukoil Academic of Bulgaria; Soproni of Hungary; Parma Perm of Russia and for Imola and Teramo of Italy. Zagorac was a member of the Slovenian squad that captured the gold medal at EuroBasket 2017.
