AS Monaco and shooting guard Yakuba Ouattara will spend another season together after the sides penned a new deal, the club announced Thursday. Ouattara (1.92 meters, 27 years old) has played three and a half of the last four seasons for Monaco. He averaged 10.4 points and 3.4 rebounds over 14 appearances in the 7DAYS EuroCup last season. Ouattara raised those numbers to 11.1 points and 3.6 boards in the French League and 12.6 points and 4.2 rebounds in the French playoffs in helping Monaco reach the finals. A product of the Elan Chalon youth system, Ouattara has also played for Denin ASC Voltaire in France and Long Island in the G-League. He has also represented the French national team.
