Segafredo Virtus Bologna has added versatile forward Kyle Weems, one of the top producers in the 7DAYS EuroCup last season, to its roster. Weems (1.98 meters, 29 years old) brings a wealth of experience, having reached the EuroCup Finals with Strasbourg of France in 2016. Last season, with Tofas Bursa of Turkey, he was ranked among the top 22 players in the regular season in both scoring (13.6 ppg.), three-point accuracy (48.7%) and steals (1.8). All told, in his 24 EuroCup games over two seasons, he has averaged 12.3 points, 4.2 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.3 steals. He also played 10 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games for Strasbourg in the 2015-16 season, posting 7.9 points and 3.4 rebounds on average. Italy will be the fourth European country of his pro career. Weems turned pro with Telekom Baskets Bonn and stayed in Germany to play in Bayreuth the next season, 2013-14. Before his year with Strasbourg, he played one with another French team, Nanterre. And then he had two years with Besiktas before staying in Turkey with Tofas last season.
