The third new player added to Joventut Badalona's roster for its return to the 7DAYS EuroCup is big man Kerem Kanter, who signed with the Spanish club on Monday. Kanter (2.06 meters, 24 years old) arrives from Dzukija of the Lithuanian League. He led the league in scoring with 16.8 points per game last season and was second in rebounds with 7.3 on average. Prior to Dzukija, Kanter played 12 games for Bourg-en-Bresse of the French League, putting up 7.2 points and 3.2 rebounds in 13.4 minutes on average. Before turning pro, Kanter split four seasons of university ball between Wisconsin-Green Bay and Xavier. He helped lead the Turkey to a gold medal at the U-18 European Championships in 2013.
