Maccabi Rishon LeZion added some experienced size for its upcoming 7DAYS EuroCup debut when it inked forward Ben Altit to a two-year deal on Thursday. Altit (2.08 meters, 26 years old) has a eight-year pro career with seven different teams in Israel, among whom is Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv. He made his Turkish Airlines EuroLeague debut with Maccabi at age 20, recording a block against Partizan NIS Belgrade in early 2014 and playing in three games total that season. He was on the bench as Maccabi shcoked everyone by winning the EuroLeague title at that year's Final Four in Milan. Altit played one more EuroLeague game in a Maccabi uniform the next season before moving on to Iron Ramat Gan and a succession of Israeli clubs before splitting last season between Gilboa Galil and Ironi Nahariya. Altit has averaged 4.3 points per game in his Israeli League career.
