AS Monaco added size and athleticism to its frontcourt with the addition of veteran power forward Landing Sane, the club announced on Thursday. Sane (2.11 meters, 28 years old) spent last season bouncing between three clubs. He started 2018-19 campaign with Levallois where he averaged 6.8 points in five French League games, then moved to Mornar Bar of Montenegro where in four 7DAYS EuroCup regular season games he posted 11.8 points on 58.8% three-point shooting along with 6.8 rebounds and 1.3 steals. He also earner Round 7 co-MVP honor with his 23 points plus 10 rebounds for a PIR 30 in a win over Fiat Turin. Sane also posted 6.1 points and 5.1 rebounds with Mornar in the Adriatic League before he joined MoraBanc Andorra where he had 4.7 points and 2.4 rebounds in 11 Spanish League appearances. Sane has four EuroCup seasons under his belt, two with Levallois where he previously spent six seasons, and one with Grissin Bon Reggio Emilia. Sane has also played in France for Centre Federal du Basket-Ball and Hyeres-Toulon Var Basket, and has been a member of the French U18, U19, U20, U21 and B national teams.
