Galatasaray Doga Sigorta Istanbul added veteran playmaking depth to its roster by signing a one-year contract with guard Lazeric Jones, the club announced on Thursday. Jones (1.82 meters, 29 years old) spent last season with AS Monaco and posted 8.7 points and 3.8 assists in the French League action while averaging 7.7 points and 3.9 assists in 13 appearances in the 7DAYS EuroCup. The last season was his third in the EuroCup with a third different team, having made his debut in 2014-15 with Szolnoki Olaj from Hungary, and a season later played with Pinar Karsiyaka Izmir. Jones has a career average of 9.6 points and 4.1 assists in the competition. During his career, he also played with Maccabi Rishon LeZion in Israel, KAO Drama sin Greece, Sakarya in Turkey and Iowa in the G-League.
