Umana Reyer Venice put a serious scoring threat to its backcourt with the addition of shooting guard Andrew Goudelock, the club announced on Monday. Goudelock (1.91 meters, 30 years old) returns to the 7DAYS EuroCup for the first time since 2013-14 season, when he was chosen as the competition MVP, leading UNICS Kazan to the EuroCup Finals while averaging 18.8 points, 3.1 assists and 2.0 rebounds. Since then, Goudelock also played in three Turkish Airlines EuroLeague campaigns, including one in 2014-15 with Fenerbahce Istanbul when he helped the team make its first of five consecutive Final Four berths, ranking second in scoring (17.0 ppg), and earning All-EuroLeague Second Team honors in the process. That same season he set a EuroLeague all-time single-game record for most three-pointers, hitting 10 against FC Bayern Munich in November 2014. Goudelock last played with Shangdong in China, where he averaged 23.3 points and 3.4 assists. During his professional career, Goudelock has also played for two other EuroLeague teams, Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv and AX Armani Exchange Milan. He also wore uniforms of Houston and Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA, Sioux Falls and Rio Grande of D-League and Xinjiang Flying Tigers of China.
