Promitheas adds guard Robinson
Promitheas Patras strengthened its backcourt by inking Gerald Robinson, the club announced Monday. Robinson (1.85 meters, 30 years old) arrives from AS Monaco, where he averaged 9.3 points and 1.9 assists in 10 7DAYS EuroCup games last season. He started his career with Leuven Bears of Belgium and has also played for Altshuler Saham Galil Gilboa of Israel, VEF Riga of Latvia, JSF Nanterre of France, ALBA Berlin of Germany and Petrochimi Bandar Imam Harbour of Iran before joining Monaco in 2017. Robinson helped VEF win the Latvian League title in 2015 and lifted the French Leaders Cup with Monaco in 2018. In three EuroCup seasons with VEF, Nanterre and Monaco, Robinson has averaged 12.2 points and 2.8 assists in 29 career games.
