AS Monaco has put a boost in its offense by signing experienced guard Norris Cole until the end of the season. Cole (1.88 meters, 31 years old) is a two-time NBA champion who averaged a team-high 16.6 points per game in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague last season after joining Buducnost VOLI Podgorica in December and playing 15 games. Cole also led Buducnost in assists with 4.6 per game. A season earlier, Cole had made his EuroLeague debut with Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv, posting 12.6 points and 3.8 assists off the bench. Prior to Europe, Cole played most of six seasons with Miami, New Orleans and Oklahoma City of the NBA, splitting the last of those with Shandong in the Chinese League. He also played 10 games for Avellino of the Italian League during last season.
