After first two Round 5 of the 7DAYS EuroCup Top 16 games on Tuesday, Tofas Bursa became the first team to qualify for the playoffs by virtue of Joventut Badalona's loss. It is unprecedented in the recent history of the competition that it took to the penultimate round of this phase for the first team to qualify. At least one team had always advanced by this stage of the EuroCup, historically, and in since the Top 16 returned in the 2016-17 season, at least three were qualified through four games. However, following Tofas, as many as seven playoff spots could be filled by the end of Wednesday night, so hold on to your hats for the drama ahead!
