Nanterre and playmaker Warren back together
Nanterre 92 brought back a familiar face to run its offense by signing a one year deal with playmaker Chris Warren, the club announced on Friday. Warren (1.78 meters, 31 years old) returns to Nanterre for his third stint with the club. He made his debut with the club in the 2012-13 season when he averaged 12.0 points and 2.4 assists and led the club to its lone French League title. Warren returned to Nanterre for the 2016-17 campaign, and led the team to winning the French Cup and also FIBA Europe Cup crowns, while again leading the team with 14.4 points and 4.5 assists in the French League action. Last season, Warren played with Ormanspor Ankara, posting 15.0 points, 3.9 assists and 3.2 rebounds in the Turkish League. During his career, he also played in Turkey with Usak and Yesilgiresun, with AEK Athens in Greece, Bremerhaven in Germany, Adelaide in Australia and San Lazaro in the Dominican Republic. Warren now returns to the 7DAYS EuroCup for the first time since making his debut with AEK in the 2015-16 season, when in seven appearances he averaged 7.7 points and 3.6 assists.
