UNICS adds Morgan at forward

UNICS Kazan started retooling its frontcourt by signing power forward Jordan Morgan to a one-year deal with an option for another season, the club announced on Monday. Morgan (2.03 meters, 28 years old) arrives from Pinar Karsiyaka Izmir, where he averaged 12.5 points on 68.0% two-point shooting and 7.4 rebounds in 22 Turkish League games last season. Morgan started his professional basketball career with Virtus Rome in Italy in the 2014-15 season, when he also made his 7DAYS EuroCup debut, averaging 9.1 points and 6.7 rebounds in 18 appearances. He has also played for Hermine Nantes Atlantique of France, Kymis of Greece, Canton of the D-League, Petrol Olimpija Ljubljana of Slovenia and Banvit Bandirma of Turkey. Before that, Morgan helped the University of Michigan reach the 2013 NCAA Tournament championship game. He led Olimpija to the Slovenian League title in 2018. Morgan is now set to make his EuroCup return with UNICS in the coming season.
